AICON-BIO^TM Taylorella equigenitalis Real-time PCR Kit utilizes real-time PCR technology and premixed freeze drying method to accurately and specifically detect Taylorella equigenitalis nucleic acid. Taylorella equigenitalis is the causative agent of Contagious Equine Metritis (CEM), a highly contagious venereal disease affecting horses, particularly mares. The Kit qPCR mix (lyophilized) contains primers, probes, enzyme and dNTPs in one tube.
