The cassette format is a plastic device containing the reactive strip within a plastic mold. The cassette has a region to write on, which can greatly improve efficiency in a busy laboratory setting. The sample application is standardized by the use of a plastic dropper provided with every test kit. The sample is applied into a test well to ensue the steady sample flow through  the reactive test region. The reaction takes approximately 5 minutes for the visual appearance of control and test lines(one line for negative, and both lines for positive results). The results obtained can be qualitative or semi-quantitative formats, depending on individual test or technique.
